You’ll find massive discounts on all the latest models, like the flashy iPhone 16 Pro Max, but there are also some excellent options for those on a budget, like the iPhone 16E. Some carriers will even give you a new phone for free (assuming you meet some special requirements). Just note that straightforward discounts are still pretty hard to come by, and just about every offer below will require a trade-in or the activation of a new line. Most will also lock you into a 24- or 36-month contract.

Below you’ll find the best deals on the iPhone 16, iPhone 15, iPhone 14, iPhone 13 and iPhone SE 2022, grouped by generation.

What is the best iPhone deal right now?

If you’re wondering what the top iPhone deal is right now, the truth is that it depends on your personal needs. If you are looking for the best deal on the latest model, it’s hard to argue with the trade-in deals on the iPhone 16 at carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon. These providers offer up to $1,020 off, essentially getting you the new phone for free (on contract) if you have a recent enough device to hand over.

There are tons of savings to be had on all the models in Apple’s latest iPhone 16 lineup, including carrier deals that can nab you the device for free if you have an older device to hand over.

iPhone 16 at Apple

Trading in your old phone at Apple could save you up to $630 on any iPhone 16 model. Previous-gen iPhones will net the biggest discount, but Apple also accepts devices from Samsung, Google and OnePlus. You’ll also get 3% cash back if you buy it with your Apple Card*.

If you let Apple connect you to a carrier, you could save up to $1,000.

iPhone 16 at T-Mobile

T-Mobile is offering a number of trade-in and new-line discounts on the iPhone 16 series at the moment. Exchanging your old phone will save you up to $1,000 if you have a Go5G Next plan, which scores you the basic iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro or the brand-new 16E for free. People on a Magenta Max or Go5G Plus plan can get up to $830 off when you trade in an old device, which still scores you the basic iPhone 16 or 16E for free. Those on other qualifying service plans can only save up to $500.

You can also save up to $830 with both a new line and a trade-in, and military members, first responders and folks over 55 can take advantage of exclusive trade-in offers for up to $800 off.

There’s also a special offer for the 16E that saves you up to $630 when you switch your number over from another carrier, which gets you the basic 128GB configuration for free.

iPhone 16 at AT&T

AT&T has a pretty incredible trade-in offer at the moment. Those who have, or switch to, an eligible unlimited plan can exchange their old iPhone (13 Pro or newer) in any condition for up to $1,000 off. That scores you the basic iPhone 16 or 16 Pro for free and drops the 16 Pro Max to less than $6 per month. If you’re looking to get your hands on the iPhone 16 Plus, you can pick it up for just $11 per month when you purchase it on an installment plan. That’s a $534 discount with no trade-in required.

The iPhone 16E is also available for just $6 per month when you buy it on an installment plan and requires no trade-in at this time. You’re responsible for the $35 activation fee, but it’s still a sweet deal.

Note that you need to have or switch to an eligible unlimited plan to get these offers, and the discount will be applied as bill credits over a 36-month period. AT&T is also offering a special online-only offer of $200 off with the activation of a new line.

iPhone 16 at Verizon

Verizon is offering some slight savings on all iPhone 16 models right now. Adding a new line on an Unlimited Ultimate plan will save you $830 on the basic iPhone 16, $930 on the iPhone 16 Plus, $1,000 on the iPhone 16 Pro and $1,020 on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. You can also trade-in an eligible device with the activation of a new myPlan line for up to $1,000 off. Discounts are applied as bill credits over a 36-month period.

Similar offers are available on the iPhone 16E. You’ll save $420 with the activation of a new line on any plan, or up to $600 with both a trade-in and a new line on a qualifying unlimited plan.

iPhone 16 at Best Buy

Best Buy isn’t carrying any unlocked iPhone 16 models right now but is offering some savings through AT&T or Verizon. AT&T customers can save up to $830 on the basic iPhone 16 or up to $1,000 on the 16 Pro and Pro Max models. You can get the iPhone 16E for just $6 per month with either a new line or upgrade activation on an installment plan.

If you’re a Verizon customer, an eligible trade-in and qualified activation could save you up to $600 on the iPhone 16E, $930 on the basic 16 and 16 Plus or $1,000 on the 16 Pro and Pro Max.

iPhone 16 at Walmart

Similar to Best Buy, you can save at Walmart on carrier options through AT&T. New and existing AT&T customers can get the new iPhone 16E for as little as $6 per month when they purchase the phone on an installment plan, which is the same deal available at AT&T directly. Verizon customers can get the phone for $549, or around $15 per month, with an installment plan as well.

iPhone 16 at Target

Target is offering up to $1,300 off the iPhone 16 series right now. Trade in your old phone and either activate a new line or upgrade an existing one and you’ll get up to $700 off the basic iPhone 16 or up to $1,000 off the 16 Pro or Pro Max. Plus, you can get an extra $300 off in bill credits when you switch your existing number to AT&T. Just note that you’ll have to visit your local Target branch in person to take advantage of these offers.

At the moment, there don’t appear to be any deals on the iPhone 16 Plus or 16E, but Target does have both models available.

iPhone 16E deals

The new budget-friendly iPhone 16E is now available and there are plenty of iPhone 16E deals for those wanting to save on Apple’s newest member of the family.

iPhone 16E at Apple

When you trade in an eligible device, Apple offers savings on the new iPhone 16E. Trading in an old phone could save you up to $630, which can potentially score you the basic 128GB model for free. However, that discount is only available if you’re trading in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which would be a bit of a downgrade. For the iPhone 14 series, the most you’ll save is $450, which is still a solid deal for this affordable model. Note that the older your phone is, the less you will potentially receive for a trade-in device.

iPhone 16E at Best Buy

If you order the iPhone 16E at Best Buy and sign up with a carrier, there are ways to save. A qualified activation with Verizon and a trade-in of your old or damaged phone will save you up to $600. If you’re an AT&T customer, a qualified activation on an eligible unlimited installment plan can save you up to $384, which drops the starting price to just $6 per month. Discounts will be delivered via bill credits over 36 months.

iPhone 16E at T-Mobile

Customers can order the new iPhone 16E at T-Mobile, and there are a few ways to save. You can save up to $1,000 when you sign up for Go5G Next plan.

A savings of up to $830 can be had when you trade in an eligible device on the Magenta Max or Go5G Plus. Or $500 can be saved when trading in an eligible device on Go5G or most other plans. You can also get the 16E for free with a trade-in and the activation of a new line on most service plans.

iPhone 16E at Verizon

Verizon is offering $420 off the iPhone 16E when you sign up for a new line on any plan. Those adding a new line on an Unlimited Welcome, Plus or Ultimate plan can save up to $600 when also trading in an eligible device, scoring you the 128GB model for free.

AT&T is offering up to $384 off iPhone 16E when you purchase it on an installment plan, as long as you have (or switch to) an eligible unlimited plan. That reduces the starting price to just $6 per month with no trade-in required. You’ll receive the discount via 36 monthly bill credits.

iPhone 16E at US Cellular

US Cellular is offering many ways to save on the iPhone 16E. Activating a new line or account on a qualifying line will save you up to $830, which scores you the 128GB or 256GB model for free. You can also get the 512GB model for free with a new line and an eligible trade-in.

US Cellular is also offering $500 off with a new prepaid line and the port-in of an existing number, which drops the starting price to $99.

iPhone 16E at Boost Mobile

Order your iPhone 16E at Boost Mobile and sign up for the Unlimited Premium plan ($60 a month), and you can snag a new iPhone for as little as $300. You can also pay full price for the phone upfront, which gets you a free year of service.

iPhone 16E at Visible

If you activate a new line on Visible’s $45-per-month Plus plan and buy the new iPhone 16E outright or on an installment plan, you’ll get $25 per month back via bill credits over 24 months. That saves you $600 in total, which scores you the 128GB model for free.

You can order the iPhone 16E from Walmart for $549 or just over $15 per month for 36 months with an eligible activation with Verizon or AT&T.

Amazon doesn’t currently offer direct savings on the iPhone 16E. However, its trade-in program can knock off up to $220 with an eligible device, which is still a great discount.

iPhone 15 deals

The iPhone 15 series hit shelves in September 2023. And although the phones in this lineup are a generation old, they still have plenty to offer — with the basic model even retaining a spot on our list of the best phones for 2025. Plus, it’s pretty easy to get your hands on one of these previous-gen models for less right now, which makes them a good value for Apple users on a budget.

iPhone 15 at Apple

Apple isn’t offering any direct discounts on the iPhone 15 series at the moment, but it has a trade-in program that can save you hundreds on a new iPhone 15. Technically, you can save up to $630, but that’s only if you’re trading in another iPhone 15, which is an unlikely scenario. For the iPhone 14 series and older, the most you’ll save is $450. The iPhone Upgrade Program or Apple Card financing (and cash back) are also options, and you can save up to $1,000 when you opt to sign up with a carrier.

iPhone 15 at AT&T

AT&T is offering discounts in the form of monthly bill credits when you buy a new iPhone 15 on an installment plan. People who have or switch to an eligible unlimited plan can get the basic iPhone 15 for just $6 per month, which is $514 off the usual price. This offer also knocks $344 off the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which drops it down to just $21 per month. The iPhone 15 Pro is also discounted, but only the 1TB model is still in stock, which is available for $31 per month. At the moment, there aren’t any discounts available on the iPhone 15 Plus.

iPhone 15 at Verizon

Adding a new line on an Unlimited Welcome, Plus or Ultimate plan gets you the iPhone 15 or 15 Plus for free, with no trade-in required. These discounts are applied in the form of monthly bill credits over a 36-month period.

Both the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are currently sold out.

iPhone 15 at T-Mobile

The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are currently sold out at T-Mobile, but there are plenty of ways to score some savings on the other models. Trading in an old phone will save you up to $1,000 if you’re on a Go5G Next plan, which nets you the basic iPhone 15 or 15 Plus for free. If you’re on a Magenta Max or Go5G Plus plan, you can save up to $830 with an eligible trade-in, which still gets you the basic iPhone 15 or 15 Plus for free. Those on other service plans will only save up to $500 with an eligible trade-in.

You can also save up to $830 with both a trade-in and the activation of a new line. T-Mobile is also offering a discount of $630 when you switch your existing number over from another carrier, and military members, first responders and people over 55 can take advantage of special offers for up to $800 off.

iPhone 15 at Best Buy

Best Buy is offering a $50 discount on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. It’s also offering an extra $100 discount on the basic iPhone 15 and 15 Plus when you opt for same-day activation through AT&T or Verizon, which drops the starting price to just $630.

Best Buy also has its own trade-in program, where you can exchange your old phone for additional savings. And all iPhone 15 purchases come with some freebies, including two free months of Apple TV Plus and three free months of Apple Fitness Plus, Apple Music and Apple Arcade — as long as you’re a new or returning subscriber.

iPhone 15 at Spectrum

Right now, Spectrum is offering $100 off the iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max. Additionally, you’ll an extra $100 in credit towards the basic iPhone 15 or 15 Plus, or $200 in credit towards the 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max with an eligible trade-in. The phone you trade in just needs to have a value greater than $1, so even old and damaged devices will still net you some savings.

iPhone 14 deals

The iPhone 14 series is still a popular line of phones and comprises the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and top-spec iPhone 14 Pro Max. Apple discontinued the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max in September 2023, so finding these phones in new condition is getting tougher, but they’re still a solid value when you can find them in stock and on sale.

iPhone 14 at T-Mobile

Only the basic iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are still available at T-Mobile. You can snag one for free with an eligible trade-in on a Magenta Max, Go5G Plus ro Go5G Next plan, or both the activation of a new line and an eligible trade-in. Those on most other plans can save to $500 with a trade-in. You can also get it for free when you switch your number over from another carrier. If you’re only activating a new line on a qualifying plan, you’ll still save 50% (up to $315). T-Mobile also has exclusive offers for military members, first responders and people over 55.

iPhone 14 at AT&T

AT&T isn’t offering any direct discounts or special offers on the iPhone 14 right now, but you can save with an eligible trade-in. You’ll also save $200 on a new line when you open it online.

If you switch over to AT&T, they’ll give you up to $800 to break your contract with your current phone service provider.

iPhone 14 at Verizon

Add a new line on an Unlimited Welcome, Plus or Ultimate plan and you can get the iPhone 14 or 14 Plus for free at Verizon. The discount comes in bill credits over 36 months, and there’s no trade-in required. Note that Verizon is only carrying certified refurbished models of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, though you can still pick them up at a discount with a new line.

iPhone 14 at Spectrum

The basic iPhone 14 is still full price at Spectrum, but you can get an extra $100 on top of the trade-in value when you exchange your old phone. Spectrum accepts any devices valued at just $1 or more, so even old and damaged phones will still net you some savings. If the final trade-in value exceeds the cost of the new device, the difference will be refunded to your Spectrum mobile account.

iPhone 14 at Best Buy

Best Buy is currently offering $50 off the iPhone 14 Plus. And you’ll get $100 off either the basic or Plus model when you opt for same-day activation and sign up with either AT&T or Verizon. The tech retailer also has its own trade-in program, where you can score even more savings in exchange for your old phone.

Best Buy isn’t currently carrying any new 14 Pro or Pro Max phones, though it does have some refurbished models.

iPhone 13 deals

The iPhone 13 may not be Apple’s flagship series anymore, but these are still solid phones worth considering — especially for folks on a tight budget. Like the iPhone 14 series, these 2021 models are getting pretty tough to find in new condition, but we’ve found them at Best Buy.

As with other iPhone models, Best Buy will knock $100 off the starting price of the iPhone 13 when you choose same-day activation with AT&T or Verizon. That means you can get your hands on one for as little as $450 right now, which is a pretty serious bargain. You can also take advantage of Best Buy’s trade-in program for even more savings. And you’ll get two free months of Apple TV Plus and three free months of Apple Fitness Plus, Apple Music and Apple Arcade with the deal — as long as you’re a new or returning subscriber.

iPhone SE (2022) deals

If the new $599 iPhone 16E is still a little out of your budget, there’s the even more affordable iPhone SE, which was updated back in 2022. Starting at $429, it’s the most affordable iPhone on shelves right now, though it’s getting pretty tough to find it in stock.
